Bi-fold doors have been traditionally used by builders because of the ease with which they get installed and the cost factor. They are generally used for bedrooms and kitchen entrance. The measurements of bi-fold doors are also odd. Hence, when you replace these doors with the regular ones, you might even have to face some struggle in finding the doors of your size. As a result, you may even have to order doors custom made for you. These special doors can cost you more.
