It has become essential to have a fan to cool your home in the summer months due to the changes in climate. A few years ago opening the windows was enough to cool the home but the recent summers have shown the need for better ways of keeping the home cool.

There are two kinds of fans used for this.

One of these fans is the ceiling fan. It is normally placed on the ceiling of the sitting room and the bedroom. Since warm air rises placing the fan on the ceiling blows away that warm air. These fans are available in a wide variety of styles to suit your ceiling.

The other fan is the attic fan that is designed to pull the hot air from  the attic. They are available with different power sources some require to be wired with the house installation while some are solar powered.
